Dyno question

Will a larger tire size affect my dyno read out? I'm going to dyno my car on Friday and the question just hit me I know taller tires effect acceleration but will it effect my dyno plot in the same way?

If they're tall enough to change your final drive ratio, and the dyno operator isn't aware of it . . . then yes, it'll affect your numbers.

Assuming it's not a hub-based dyno, of course.

I made similar numbers with a relativly similar setup, the big torque feels great doesnt it?

The Torque is great and the power delivery is very smooth Is was hoping for 200ish at the wheels but that may have been a bit optimistic, sooo now it time for some cams and flat faced valves and probably some milling of the head to up the CR. If I can find the funds I'm going to send my spare head over to Endyne to get the chambers welded and brass guides and a quality P&P and then return to the dyno to get me over the 200 bump, once that's done I'll shoot for the 250 range but for now I want to get over 200 at the wheels.

FYI, your tune is not very good. There is more power available to you if you can fix your AFR above 5000 RPM.

Is it to rich? I thought Ideal was about 14.7? Right now it's about 13.8 at WOT according to my wide band. Should this be leaner?

It's too inconsistent. Your AFR is too lean at 5600, and then goes too rich at redline. For an NA car, it is always bad to run richer than 13:1. Max power on a Honda is nearly always right at 13.7/13.8, with some rare exceptions for highly modified engines. You want to keep your AFR right on that number across the whole rev range.

Ok, right now the car is running on a OBDI conversion with a typical chiped ECU from Phearable.net. I'd really like to get an S300 for tuning but I'm torn between gettin a nice valvetrain or a better tuning platform. Obviously the more important thing is creating a better environment for the engine to promote combustion. I've seen first hand how nice the S300 is but I'm not really chompin at the bit to dump 500 dollars on the ECU, an S200 is a nice and I'm considering using that to give me a better tune that what's being run on the engine.

What is more compression going to be worth? Will it be a noticable difference to go from a 10.6:1 to an 11.1:1. From what I've read I'm going to need more compression to take advantage of larger cams, with that being said what am I going to be able to get away with in the way of compression? I figure I'll get some flat faced valves to get me up to about an 11:1. If I can find the funds I'm also tossing around the Idea of using Type S pistons to get the 11:1 compression then up it some more using the flat faced valves. That is the plan anyway, the goal is to get this pig over 200hp.
