Do I Really Need A High Flow Cat !??

got a 99 base lude DC headers strait back to muffler !! I need a Cat for emissions and also to quit it down a bit lol.. Anyways will a regular cat do me harm or should I just go ahead and get an after market high flow cat ?

A regular cat would be fine. A high flow wouldn't hurt but seeing as you have a DC header, you aren't too worried about getting max hp.

The OEM cat or high flow is not going to be a large hp difference. Plus it is not the deciding performance factor.

Agreed. Not much of an HP difference until you get into more seriously modified setups like built all-motor setups or FI.
