Can someone check my parts list?

This weekend I'm gonna pull my valve cover off and fix some things....

1. Fix an oil leak that's either coming from the (a) VTEC solenoid or (b) cam seal plug (or possibly both).

2. I'm at 102k so I'm going to check the valve lash while I have the cover off. I've done a lot of reading and I'm confident I can make the necessary adjustments, if the clearances are out of spec.

3. Gonna paint the valve cover. Stock paint is chipping and flaking off.

So my list of stuff goes like this...

Parts
- VTEC solenoid gasket
- Golden Eagle cam seal plug
- Valve cover gasket
- Spark plug o-rings
- Permatex grey (I've read this is the same as Hondabond?)
- Aircraft paint remover
- Duplicolor engine primer
- Duplicolor engine paint

Tools
- Socket set
- Screwdrivers
- Torque wrench
- Feeler gauges
- Jack

Anything I'm missing here? Last thing I want to do is start this job and not have all the stuff I need. Ideally I'd love to have the Honda tappet for the valve job, but it seems like a lot of guys have successfully done the job without it (it just took longer).

Thanks!

When i did all my seals i did both solenoid gaskets while i had it off. Everything you have looks good though. I also did my dizzy O ring while i was in there. Just be careful when pulling the valve cover off. I wasnt careful and all those grommets were flying everywhere! It was a beautiful mess that took me over an hour just to locate one grommet!

Makes it easier if you can rent or makeshift your own adjustment tool.

I've seen various methods over the years.
