great setup man. dont waste money on turbo cams, the stock cams will be fine. you could use the 700 bucks youd waste on cams on a tune or mugen kit cause that body kit isnt that good looking. but good job and good luck

OP: I give you major props. You are the only person I've seen lately running an Endyn head. Quality like that is so rare, I'm glad you went the extra mile. ERL is also a fantastic choice for the bottom end. This motor should be completely fantastic once you get the rest of your setup finished. Please pay no attention to the ignorant haters.

Thanks guys for the props. I'm one of those guys who likes to go big or go home only if I can afford it. I knew that he didn't really know **** about the build because he didn't even get the facts right. This tells me he's posting a reply for some *** reason.

As for the cams, I have a pair of Skunk2 Tuner Stage 2 cams that I'm trying to trade for a pair of Skunk2 Pro 1s. I know the stock cams will work but I'm really wanting to squeeze some more power into the car in and out of boost.
I'll keep this updated with future details.

ERL block took a douche. Cracked between #2 and #3 cylinders, right where the sleeves sit in. Most of the internals are repairable. I plan on reusing the rods, crank, oil pump and oil pan. Gonna purchase a sleeved block and have it bored to an 89 instead of the 89.5. Apparently the extra 5mm tends to weaken the strength of the Darton MID sleeves. Hopefully, everything will be rebuilt and I should have the car back online in Feb. when the taxes come in.

Yes. This is Hellspawn. How is the poorly managed 502 site these days anyway?

If I were you, I would keep it at 89 mm. Overboring is always dangerous with boost.

i dont believe he was running boost yet. Hard to believe the MID's cracked. My 89mm darton liners are getting taken to 89.25-.5 and still have plenty of sleeve left so we arent jeopardizing strength.

Actually, it wasn't the MIDs that cracked. They are actually in perfect condition. What cracked was the area of the block in which the bottom of the sleeves sat. The crack is most likely coming from behind one of the sleeves. Looks like it was an installation error on ERLs side, but like I said, they aren't doing a damn thing about it. I'll be going with a different sleeve company this time.
