Air Intake Idea

I've been looking for the type s intake but can't find it so I think I have came up with a solution. Run the stock air box with a free flowing filter, a short ram intake, and then heat wrap the intake. Please comment on the idea the whole thing should cost around 60 bucks.

How do you do run a stock air box and a short ram intake at the same time? Just keep your stock intake and put in a k&n drop in filter and call it a day.

If you want the type s intake

run the stock intake with a K&N filter. Just as good as any intake on the market other than a tuned cold air.

I get what he's saying... essentially, copy the design of the S2K intake. Just won't work as well

Well it will kind of be a cold air intake because the stock air cleaner box draws air from the wheel well, and by heat wrapping the intake hopefully ill acheive a denser air, through a short ram. Thank you for the link!!

^it's just the stock intake of the Type S prelude which was basically a honda engineered intake.

It's one of the best for the h22. It's what helped with the extra 20 hp the type s h22 had over the regular h22.
