5th Gen Cam Gear Questions

1. Which Skunk2 Cam Gears to go with Pro or Tuner?

2. Can You just replace the cam gears and keep the stock camshaft?

and 3. Can you actually hear the new cam gears or is that the timing gears that make some funky noise? Like that Fast and The furious civic noise.

1. Do you know which gear is suited better toward your particular application? You would know better than any of us.

2. Yes.

3. You're thinking about timing gears. Timing gear manufacturers usually have a 'noisy drive' option for people who want it. I've never heard of anyone switching from a timing belt to a gear drive in a Prelude. Truthfully, I don't know that it's even an option. Gear drives are usually found in domestics.

4. You referenced TF&TF in a tech forum?!?!?!?!? YOU'RE A ****ING RICER. BUY A CIVIC AND DRIVE IT INTO A BURNING BUILDING.

/yourself.

Thanks. Im obviously new to the prelude so I wouldnt know much about what particular mods they make for the vehicle just yet. And yes. I knew Id get a insulting response from using 2F2F in a question. Only a question. You cant learn if you dont ask. Thats what the forums are for.. Right?

People always treat the Prelude like it's from another planet. What works for one small-displacement 4-banger, works for this one.
