Nice write-up Ray. I see that you finally installed those cams. How does she run with the new cams? Quick question, how many miles your car has? I thought that the timing belt and water pump need to be change at about 80k miles.

OK this is now ready. This write up took me a few weeks to write but it's finally done.
When and if I find newer better pictures I will add them.
If anyone sees any typos or errors please let me know.

Enjoy guys.
Ray, this is an outstanding writeup. Very very good!

Any reason why you didn't go with the H23 manual tensioner conversion? I was under the impression it was a lot more reliable than the H22 autotensioner.

He's coming up on a 100k and everything that came out looked fine. I know he had the autotensioner replaced previously, not sure about the t belt though.

Dragazn: I would assume if you have the manual tensioner all you have to do is loosen it and belt should be able to come off without a problem.

CGR45: I have 99,XXX miles right now and at the time of installation I think I had about 98,XXX.

Artifex: I have no reason why I went with another autotensioner over a manual tensioner conversion. Laziness?? Really I have no answer to that question but the car was fine with the replacement the dealer put in and is fine with the one I installed.

The cams are cool. That's all I'll say for now as I'd rather keep this thread about the installation of the parts.

I changed some text and added a picture of the thermostat housing cracked open. I might have some more edits coming up in the following week.
Glad to see that some of you guys liked the write up. Hopefully it'll really help out some of you.

Nice write up bro. Alot of time I see. I did the timin, waterpump, ect..., with the help of 99_SH, actually 99_SH did it all and I just pour in oil. We started at 8am and didn't finish till 11pm. It wouldn't have taken so long, but my crank pulley bolt didn't wanna come out for bout 3 hours.
