We need to put this info in a faq! Seem like I answer this question every few months or so...
First off, the differences between stock base and SH suspension: The spring perch for the SH shocks are 20 mm lower than the base shocks, due to a longer spring on the SH. The rear springs are the same length on both base and SH. Furthermore, the springs on the SH are smaller in diameter, so the spring perches themselves are different (smaller on the SH).
Koni's (yellows) work fine on the base, as we all know, but due to the spring perch variations of the SH, the Koni's dont fit as well on an SH. The rear springs seat fairly well on the Koni spring perches: they dont seat entirely upon initial installation, but the settle snuggly into the perch after driving for a few miles. The front spring perches dont fit at all with the SH springs. However, you can get a Koni spring perch for a Civic/Integra and that smaller diameter spring perch fits perfectly with the SH springs!
To compensate for the longer SH spring, you simply move the C-clip to the lower position on the front shock (there's only 2 grooves). The rear springs are the same height, so you can just leave it in the center groove (there's 3 grooves on the rear shocks). If you happen to get the Neuspeed modified Koni's, they have 5 grooves on them, and I'm not really sure which groove is "stock" height. Probably the center one, so just find the groove that's 20 mm below the center one and use that one.
The main fitment problem you get with Koni's on an SH is when you try and use the stock SH springs. As I described above, you can get around that.
If you decide to swap out the springs, then they should fit fine with the Koni's.
