my newest mod free...sort of

[Note from moderators: this writeup will be redone in the near future, look for updated pictures later]

i took out the power lock switch...i dont know if you guys know but to open our doors you just hit a switch and its unclocked....i decided to make it alil harder for theives to open my doors

as for locking..if you push the lock on the driver side it will lock the passenger but as for uncloock just pull the latch..

my alarm lock when u start the car and unclocks when you turn it off.....

kinda cool? give me your opinions

removing that piece of the lock doesn't mean its slim-jim proof, if thats what they even use anymore...

um slimjims arent used much...its easier to pull you door and poke a wire hanger in and hit the switch...

you dont have a power lock switch wtf? you got the mod free

I've never seen or heard of 5th gen without power door locks (including the silver switch).

That's a good mod, BoYgUaN.

For everyone who is asking why he'd do a mod like that: one of the most common ways a thief get in is by prying back the window and pulling up on that switch with a hanger.

I never use my power lock switch, I always use the one on my keychain, that way, I know I'm not gonna lock my keys in my car, so I think I'd like to do this 'mod'. What did you use in the back of the whole there to cover it up BoYgUaN????

ya thats cool, but still if the thieve wants he can get a long coat hanger and hit the trunk release at the bottom , my friends 94 accord just got busted into and they took his tails, amp, and a couple rims off , they even unscrewed the lights outside the front of his house so nobody would see ... crazy

worst thing is , is they got the whole harness off , hes just got a buncha wires wher his tails are

no car is steal-proof or break-in proof but the point is to try and make it so hard that the thief(ASSHOLE) would rather break into another car instead of yours. I think its a good mod.

All 5th gen's came with power locks, I think even outside North America. If it's a 4th gen, they might not be there for S and maybe even Si models.

As mentioned above, you can just disconnect it. However, personally i don't like the look of that stupid silver knub sticking out , so the floppy disk would look good to me!
