Accord Tray VAFC install ... finally.

The tray needed a little bit of modding. The VAFC is stuck on there with a metal 90 degree bracket I picked up from home depot. Turned out pretty good IMO.

Is the initial VTEC ingagement point at 5800 kinda high? I'm not gonna mess with the fuel settings, but I took it for a spin and my engagement point felt really high.

Good job but can be done better. Me and some other TPC members dremelled the top and bottom portions of the pocket to the shape of the VAFC (Top view) and slid it in through the top. Very time consumming. So you have a liitle of the VAFC situated in the top portion and bottom cause the pocket is thinner than the VAFC. I'll try and find picks but I don't have a digi.

I considered doing this, but I wanted to be see most of the VAFC. Since the bottom is further back than the top, it would make it even further back than I wanted. So I opted to do it this way.

haha ... I dunno man ... probably not. took quite a while to do. I had to dremel the stock trim around that area also. If you wanna know exactly how I did things, I'll tell you.

Does the VAFC give you the option to change the colors for the buttons?
