I personally think the +5hp came from the mktg dept. Just take a look at Nissan and their bunk claims of hp at the crank.
Just a question, would I/H/E on a SS be equal to a stock 5sp in terms of whp?
Also, is it safe to have the AEM pullies, since we know the UR pulleys can be harful??
I think as SS's we loose 5hp from 5spd.
Honestly AEM pullies was probably one of the best mods i did b/c my CAI took so more low-end torque away and i got some back w/ the pullies.

is that proven, has anyone raced a 99-01 lude with a 97-98 lude and seen who has won, then switch cars... to take out the driver's factor... cause i think there is no diff between them...
tho i wish i had keyless entry

I've never heard that the 99-01 Preludes were any faster than the 97-98 ones... Plus I doubt 5 ponies would make a big diff in 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times...
ILELUDER - no prob! Also, glad to know you found the CAPS LOCK key! Cheers bud...
Re: Differences between 97-98 and 99-01 (Since I've had both)
hmm.. I think they also changed the pattern in the cloth seats in 99-01.
but anyways, a little off-topic but does anyone have any proven claims of differences between the stainless steel DC Sports Headers and the ceramic ones?
