Will these make it through the Ohio winter?

I found a really good deal on a set of rims with Hankook Ventus HRII. I know that they aren't the greatest performing tires on the market, but what I'm really interested in knowing is how they perform in rain and snow. I really need a nice set of tires (these are almost brand new) to get me through the winter here in Ohio as mine just aren't going to do the trick. Does anyone have thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks!

Any all-season tire will start to loose traction when the temperatures start to drop below 45 degrees. For your winter driving conditions, I recommend running a dedicated winter tire. Check out this video...
