will a +60 offset wheel fit?

I'm checkin out some 17" rims with a really high positive offset of +60mm. I know for sure it won't rub on the fender but you think i'll have problems clearing the brakes and suspension?

You're going to have to do some math. First off how wide are the wheels? The stockers are 6" I believe and have a 50 or 55 (someone correct me) mm offset. So take into consideration you're moving 5-10mm inward plus the additional width of the rim and see if you have room now.

because they're OEM honda 17" rims that i've been told are lightweight and I think they look nice. Every other rim i've looked at has had too low of an offset. I've also looked into advans and volks, but i haven't found a set that i like yet

What wheels are they, and what offset are you looking for in Volks?

Volks have the necessary offsets i'd need to make them fit a lude, but i just haven't found a set that i like yet. I was checking out the LE37A's and LE37T's for a while but the A's are only made in 18" and the T's aren't really original anymore since the design has been copied so much. also i'm pretty sure this gunmetal with polished lip craze is gonna die soon.

Someone answer this for me. If i want a rim to tuck in the wheel well it should be a lower offset? Such as +45? Would a high offset rim would stick our further the wheel well than a low offset?

F*ck im confused now.

higher offset will make your wheel more inset.... lower offset will make it stick out.

a lower offest does mean the outer edge of the rim sticks out more. if you put on rims with a 0 offset your car would look like a lowrider.
