You have to realize, no matter where you go, there is stupid people out there. You can't filter the stupid ones, though we try hard to do so by making it difficult to register -- that seems to help quite a bit.
I apologize for the stupidity that someone may have had, I hate to see when someone thinks they can take advantage of another person to further themselves, not realizing they may be getting that other person in trouble. I thought you were being kind enough offering $40 off of your already low prices.

Whoa whoa, wrong. I said exactly what it was... $40 off any tire wheel combo. All I did was call the local store and tell the guy what price I could get from the online site. Then I told him I had a deal that was 40 dollars off the wheel tire combo. Then I told him that if I buy online there is no sales tax. So he said he would match the exact price including tax and 40 dollars off but he just wanted to confirm with you that you were giving 40 dollars off the tire wheel combo. So what was wrong with that? 40 % off everything? Who ever said that? Everything this month? I even said to the guy the deal was only for two days. Even when I talked to you directly I never said anything close to any of that.

My quotes are repeating what one of our store representatives said to me regarding your store visit/call. Regardless of how it went down, it created tension over here.
Sponsors are on the site for multiple reasons. One of those reasons is to help pay for the maintainence and growth of the site. By opting to spend your money elsewhere you are essentially taking money away from your website.

well if that's what he said he must have said it wrong since he gave me a price that was 40 dollars off not 40 percent off. True. And usually I do, I just didn't this time and don't think I should be made out as if I was the bad guy like it seems like was being intended even though I think I did nothing wrong.
Sponsors will usually get business from us first, but sometimes we will buy from other people. That doesn't mean we are "taking money away from" po.com.
