Wheel/Tire Fitment **EVERYONE**

I'm compiling data to list wheel/tire combinations that everyone has used and how they fit. If you could provide me with the following information it would help me, along with future Prelude owners.

I need to have you answer ALL of the fields:

General Info
Genenation of Prelude (5th, 4th, 3rd, etc):
Wheel Make (ie. Volk, Rota, etc.)
Wheel Model (ie. TE-37, Subzero, etc.):
Wheel Size (ie. 17x7):
Wheel Offset (ie. +48mm):
Tire Brand (ie. Toyo, Falken):
Tire Model (ie. FZ4, S-o3, Azenis):
Tire Size (ie. 215/40/17):

What have you modified on your car?
Trimmed the Rear Bumper Tab?
Rolled the Front Fenders?
Rolled the Rear Fenders?
Front Camber Kit?
Rear Camber Kit?

Does it rub?
Front Outter Fender?
Front Inner Fender?
Rear Outter Fender?
Front Shock?
Rear Shock?
Only over Big Bumps?

What springs?
Brand/Model (ie. Eibach Pro-Kit, H&R Race, etc.)?
If you have adjustable height coilover or coilever sleeves what is the measurement from center of wheel to the fender (front and rear)?

Here is a picture of where to measure.

Thanks for the info...

If you have had more than one set of tires, or different wheels in the past feel free to leave info for previous sets as long as you can provide the required info.

I'm not sure if we really need this thread. The information you already posted (Recommended Tire Sizes & Offsets) is more than enough for someone to do their homework when buying new wheels + tires.

^^ I kind of though that too, but I'm working on a database to store the information... then everyone can see the exact tire along with the wheel size and offset... and people's experience with it... I kind of want to expand on that thread with this information...

Are you sure of that offset? That seems like it would rub, I just want to make sure. I know with more offset I had to trim the rear tabs and I was on a thinner wheel.

Jay had to have those Volks custom made with that offset so they can clear the calipers on his Rotora Big Brake Kit

Re: Wheel/Tire Fitment **EVERYONE**

Nothing earth-shattering here, but:

General Info
Generation of Prelude: 5th
Wheel Make: Rota
Wheel Model: Slipstream
Wheel Size: 16x7
Wheel Offset: +45mm
Tire Brand(s): Kumho & Goodyear
Tire Model(s): Ecsta 712's & F1 GS-D3's
Tire Size: 205/50-16

What have you modified on your car?
Trimmed the Rear Bumper Tab? no
Rolled the Front Fenders? no
Rolled the Rear Fenders? no
Front Camber Kit? no
Rear Camber Kit? no

Does it rub?
Front Outer Fender? no
Front Inner Fender? no
Rear Outer Fender? no
Front Shock? no
Rear Shock? no
Only over Big Bumps? no

What springs?
Brand/Model? H&R Sports

FWIW, I think +45 is probably the highest positive offset you can run on slipstreams - the stock brake caliper only has about 2mm of clearance between it & the spokes of the wheel.
