what should I do with my wheels?

I just got new wheels and I don't know what to do with my stock 5th gen base wheels. I'd like to keep them so that when I sell the car I can put the stock wheels back on and keep the wheels I just bought, but then I realized what are the odds that the wheels I just bought will fit my next car? So should I hold on to my base rims or sell em?

Keep them, I don't think anyone will pay you that much for base stockers. Think of it this way:

1. You sell the base rims now for $300-400 with tires? Maybe? Then the aftermarkets stay on the car when it sells.

or

2. You sell the car with the base rims on and then sell your aftermarkets for probably more money than $400.

it's not worth sellin them....keep them in case you go back to stock or have a problem w/ your current rims....it's always good to have the options

Whatever you do

don't put them in a self-storage locker, they get broken into more often than you think. I was just robbed last month - took my printer, some tools, a nice boogie board. If you do put them in a self storage get insurance and take pictures of your rims and other property for your records.

keep them and put snow tires on them save your self the head ache of body work next ice storm. That was how I justified spending2g's on new wheels and tires..." It will save me from the fender bender, thats why I need new summer wheels so I have winter ones. "

Code:
Stack two of the wheels vertically, creating two posts, like so:

(=)    (=)
(=)    (=)

Purchase a 4x8 piece of plywood, like so:

[=============]

Place the plywood on the wheel/tire padastles like so:

[=============]
  (=)    (=)
  (=)    (=)

Now you have a coffee table. Mmm...coffee.

ok ok I missed that part but you think that you can drift? let me tell you about drifting. I gots me a solid three months of fluffy stuff, you want to learn how to drift a front wheel drive car take a field trip up to New England when there is jsut enough snow to make everything slick but just enough bite that you can actually retain some control. I bet that you would have to hit the turns at 90+ to get the slippy sliding drift that we can pull at 20 on snow,,,

any ways keep the wheels go buy REAL slicks... I mean SLICKS and go tear up some of the drag ways you have down there. the smaller wheels ie lower gears should help the launch and 60ft hows that for an Idea, shouldn't cost to much for a pair for the front and might be a cool to run on those. What do you think about that?
