The truth is that you can't get good performance tires for under $400. You get what you pay for with the exception of the S0-3s which are an incredible bargain. Your best bet would be to find someone on here who is upgrading and doesn't need their tired anymore.

fyi.... national tire and battery and some places match prices from tirerack.com so you don't even have to pay for shipping..... one of my friends works there and he told me about it...
Whoa! Shiet just blew apart! Damn. I think the very best value you can get in tires is the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712. I have a buddy that i got mine from for $305 in stock size and they own! For the price, they just cant be beat even when you dont get the discount I got!
Originally posted by nmehta211 Don't Kuhmos 712s run in that price range. Of course if you are considering mounting and balancing in that price, you will have to go used.
I was going to suggest Kumho's... on Tirerack.com 225/40/18's run about $111 each for the ECSTA Supra 712's. 18's are expensive anyway you go, but they look nice!
