tires under 400 bucks

hey i want to get some 18" enkeis and i was wondering what kind of tires would be good for under 400 bucks. it dont rain too much here and i wanted some fairly good performance tires that will last some time and be good for all conditions. i race once in a while also, thanks guys

Good luck, its hard enough to find good tires for $400 for a 16" rim, I don't think you could even find a set of 18"'s for that much.

This is what i have learned for getting a good price. You get a news paper that has really good deals on tire.

Example: I get the recycler and go thru it and find the best price on there, then i take it to a store that does price matching or that can beat it.

I recently just got my 18" 215.35.18 Nitto NT450's. Got them for $119 each. And i got them at AmericasTireCompany

Don't Kuhmos 712s run in that price range. Of course if you are considering mounting and balancing in that price, you will have to go used.

The truth is that you can't get good performance tires for under $400. You get what you pay for with the exception of the S0-3s which are an incredible bargain. Your best bet would be to find someone on here who is upgrading and doesn't need their tired anymore.

Whoa! Shiet just blew apart! Damn. I think the very best value you can get in tires is the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712. I have a buddy that i got mine from for $305 in stock size and they own! For the price, they just cant be beat even when you dont get the discount I got!

I was going to suggest Kumho's... on Tirerack.com 225/40/18's run about $111 each for the ECSTA Supra 712's. 18's are expensive anyway you go, but they look nice!

let me put it this way, if i can find a set of 18 inches tires under $400, i wouldn't want to ride in it. $500 is more reasonable
