tire/rim question....please help me

hey guys so i just picked up a set of 5zigen proracer gn+ with an offset of +35....yeah i know i read the sticky and it said that anything lower then a +38 is not recomended but the guy i bought them off of had a 5th gen and he had no rubbing. however he had coilovers and dumped w/o a camber kit running on 205/45/17's....my question is i wanna go with 215/40/17's with tein ss' 1 finger gap and spc camber kit soon....will i have any rubbing problems? cause i hate it!!!
