For those running AP1 S2000 wheels on the lude...

Could you describe the exact fitment issues?

4 Fronts:

I know this is obviously the best setup, and should bolt right up. Do the wheels sit in any further than stock 5g wheels, have heard comments that they do, and that wheel spacers are needed. So, can anybody confirm this, and if so, which wheel spacers you are using (5/10/15mm)? Any pics with and without wheel spacers?

2 Fronts/2 Rears:

Less ideal, but many say it will work without any rubbing issues. For those who have done this, what size tire worked? Did the stock s2k rear rims with 225/50/16 tires bolt up without any rubbing issues, or is a smaller tire needed? Pics?

Thanks!

EDIT: sorry, just realized I didn't post this in the wheel/tire forum. Mods pls feel free to move...

Seriously, even putting 4 fronts on the Prelude is not really that ideal either. The S2000's front wheel has 70mm center bore and the wheel is of hub-centric design not lug-centric. That means without using a proper hubcentric ring the wheel may not mount on center perfectly... Also, because the OEM bulge-type lug does not support vehicle's weight, what's gonna happen in the future is that the wheel may shift off center, which in turn causes vibration and possible damages to the suspension parts.

Justforwheels.com has a polycarbonate hubcentric ring with ID 64.1mm and OD 70.1mm that should fit the the lude's 64.1mm hub and the front AP1 rim's 70.1mm center bore (note, the rear AP1 wheel has a 64.1mm center bore).

Well, the ONLY purpose of a hubcentric ring is to hold the wheel on center during the installation. Once the wheel is mounted its job is done. It's not there to support vehicle's weight. The wheel may still shift........
