Tenzo rims good or bad??

hey everyone there are a few really nice looking tenzo rims i am thinking about getting and just wondered how the quality was.they run about $200 per wheel which sounds about middle of the road(not cheap but certainly not Volks either).also the ones i want are 17x7 and have a 42mm offset.according to the sticky that is a grey area for offset if you are lowered(which i am).any potential rubbing issues?i am going to transfer over my current low profile tires but i dont know the size off the top of my head.thanks!

17" TENZO R DC6 BLACK RIMS WHEELS LEXUS IS250 IS300 : eBay Motors (item 260566053916 end time May-08-10 17:06:01 PDT)

I have 18x7.5" wheels on 225/40/18 tires with that same +42 offset and a 1.5" drop and I have rubbing, but it's still livable. Depending on the tires you use and how much you are lowered, I would think you should be able to get that offset to work on a 17" wheel without rubbing. If you use wide tires with tall sidewalls, you will have rubbing.

ya im hoping i wont rub since the wheels are 7" wide and not 7.5 plus the low profile tires should help.im looking at some other designs as well.those dc6's looked good on that lude but not as good as i actually thought they would so i may reconsider to something like these

I like the first ones best (the mesh style). I wouldn't want that red stripe around the rim, but if you like it that is cool.

so you like the dc-6's the best?i want the red stripe because my lude is going to be totally blacked out so i want something to break up all the black a little bit and i dont care for black rims with chrome lips because everyone does it.

No I meant I like these best:

http://www.wheelsnext.com/images/whe..._bkf_red_2.jpg

Thats just my opinion though. You should get the ones you like best. I think the DC-6 will look pretty good as well. As for the lip, I didn't mean chrome instead of red. I would think all black would look great. But in your case, since your car is all black already, it might be good to have a little color in there.

Good luck with the wheels. I think Tenzo wheels are just as good as any other in that price range like Enkei, Motegi, etc.

5-spoke rims look best on the lude without a doubt. Go with these and you won't regret it. Bronze rims on a black lude also look amazing. But in the end it's what you're happy with lol not us

^well i tried and the link didnt work but i spoke too soon with those tarmacs.they will most likely rub and i really dont want to buy new tires as well so i may go with 17" rota sdx's in bronze so i can transfer my current tires over and save some cash.
