superleggera

ok...i see these superleggeras and they look sweet but they say painted gold or painted silver, does this mean that the quality of the finish is anyless than that of powercoating, or do most good wheels come painted IE volks rays g games ect. also does anyone think that gold superleggeras would look good on ebp or would it just be better with a grey color? do you guys think these rims would be better than my other choice of the gram light 57 pros?

i can't answer you on the paint, but most superleggeras are NOT forged rims, like the GL57pro . There is a forged version, in 18", called the "superlegerra forged"

the superleggeras are pretty light for a cast rim, and gold SL's would look hot on an EBP lude, imo.

the paint on OZ wheels is like that of other wheels, and it'll be kinda fragile so don't hit any curbs.

The paint on the OZ's is excellent. In terms of finish durability, both wheels should be about equal. I would personally go with the OZ's but thats because I'm tired of the gunmetal with polished lip look - getting played out big time. And I think that the polished lip makes the wheel look a lot smaller. I wouldn't get a 57 pro unless it was 18."

I would get the Superleggera's in bright silver. Color won't ever go out of style and combined with such a bright paint color (EBP), your car would look sick.

BTW, I think the sizes available in gold are limited so check into that - might just be Subaru fitments

what about gold superleggeras? i think it would look good, like how the STI looks sweet with the gold rims in the blue color

I love my Superleggera's... I got mine in Gunmetal.

They are sooo light and soo strong (they are made from Ti/Al alloy). 15lbs for 17x7. I highly recommend them, oh and they are teh hotness

so you want your lude to look like a WRX then?

I did a quick look at all the major OZ dealers online (the superleggera was one of the wheels I was considering so I had a lot of pages bookmarked) and all I could find was the 5x100 bolt pattern in gold.

Gold might look pretty good with EBP, IMO it looks best with black though. I've seen tons of EBP with gunmetal and it doesn't do much for me at all.

Go 57P in gold or Superleggera in Race Silver

yeah...basically i am still torn between those two rims...blah.

and no i dont wanna make my car look like a wrx...but i think that gold is teh hotness, but well see...the superleggeras are lighter than gram lights and are cheaper, but there is that polished lip to consider....man...i hate all these awesome choices...NOT

poops. well it turns out taht the superleggeras arent the right bolt pattern in gold...freakin A why wouldnt they have the same damn rim in two different bolt patters but the colors are exclusive, o well, so it boils down to 57ps in gold if i can swingem, or superleggeras in the titanium finish, im kinda leaning toward the OZ's cause they are cheaper and lighter plus after thinking about it, 17 inch rims with a polished lip kinda make the rim look smaller, and around here i will NOT be getting 18's
