Standard UK Honda Prelude Motegi Wheels

Hi, I wonder if anybody can help me. This is my first post by the way

I have been advised by my mechanic to get new wheels for my 1999 Prelude Motegi, it is currently fitted with 17" wheels that come as standard in the UK on the Motegi I believe. The wheels are seriously corroded which is leading my tyres going flat regularly.

This is the only picture I could find of this style of wheel.

Basically I was wondering if anybody knew the full details of the size of this wheel and the offset etc.?They are fitted with 215/45/17 tyres, I had a rough meassure of the rim this morning and it looked as if they might be 17x7.5.

I just want to be sure so I know what size wheels to replace them with, from reading some other posts I believe the perfect replacement wheel size is 17x7.5 with 215/40/17 tyres and an offset of 45/50?

I am very interested in getting some TSW Indy 500 or TSW Nogaro rims but I think these are 17x8, would these fit my Prelude without any rubbing issues? I haven't lowered my car, its completely standard.

I am completely new to this kinda thing so apologies if the above doesnt make much sense. Cheers

Thank you for the information,

I doubt I will be going for the 17x8 as I want something that will fit easily without any modifications.

I will try and upload a pic of the wheels soon, maybe corroded was the wrong term to use but there is definatley something that isn't right.
