SP9000 or Falken Azenis? - Honda Prelude Forum

i can get either set at a similar price.
falken 215/45/16 $420
SP9000 205/50/16 $433
i think i'll go with 9000. opinions?

by the way, i wanted to get the rota battle today but it's sold out everywhere. they said even rota factory doesn't have them in stock, wtf?! i don't know how true is that but i think i'll go back to my stock rims for the time being since i need tires badly.

What is your purpose for the tires? SP9000 tires are great for all around driving, occasional track use, and amazing in the rain. They also have the longest tread life of any Max performance tire. But, they do give up a little in performance compared to Michelin Pilot Sports and BB So3s. I think the Falken may be a better choice if you are looking to autocross.

By the way, I have the 9000s, and I love em.

actually i have not decided on how i'll use the tires. i'll either use it for daily driving plus spirited driving (of course), in this case i can go for the 9000 by your comment. or i can ride on the street with azenis for now and when i get new rims/tires i can save them for autox. as you can see i still got a lot of thinking to do, thanks!

I also have the Dunlop 9000's, and I love them. They are great in the rain (I did a canyon run in the rain a couple weeks ago

)... they also stick nice in the dry. I have had them since last christmas, and there is hardly any treadwear. All around great tire.
