So I'm Going To Order Wheels Today!

Well - I've basically got in narrowed down to 1 - but am going to consider any suggestions you guys have.

Rays G-Games 77W in Gold/Polish

also seen here

I can get them in 17x7 or 18x7.5

I am dead stuck on what to get. The only reason I am not sure about getting a 17 is because I don't know if the wheel will be prominent enough (I expect them to stand out .. they are pretty nice wheels and my car is otherwise not "flashy")

Some 17's look small on Preludes - some don't. I don't know about these. 18's might be huge too.. after seeing the "Panda" with it's 18's I have that fear.

So - let's have you guys give some last minute info here! I'm hell bent on Gold by the way - and nothing more expensive than the above mentioned.

If you're only doing a moderate drop, then go for the 18's. If you're going to slam the car, then go for 17's.

I have zero finger gap in the rear right now, and 1 finger up front.

Are you on coilovers, and do you encounter lots of dips/driveways/bumps everyday? Streetability is important too, and if you're going to scrape everywhere then go with the 18's. Otherwise, go with 17's.

I don't encounter any real dips or bumps really... the odd slope entering a parking lot but nothing mean. The roads are pretty flat .. just generally rough.

I ended up ordering them in 17's

I'm going to run a 215/40 tire so I think it'll work out good.

I made my choice by comparing to ledetech's wheels - which looked a little bigger than I want mine to so I downsized. Fair comparison both being white 5th gens and gold/polish wheels. Yes, I am painting my car white.
