SLICKS.? Street legal but high performance

What are some good street legal tires that hook up good while driving agressively?

Im in the midlle of a turbo build, im going all out with the motor and my wallet!

So after the build i do not want to spin tires when i launch, shift, or hit sharp turns. I was thinking of EAGLE F1 GS-D3s or NITTO NEOGEN VRs? but i have no idea im new with tires. Please help me out guys!

Thanks
Billy

So you want semi slicks but don't want a wider tire?

Also, do you want to change tires every 5-10k (probably less)?

Seems like you just want it for drag racing, seems kind of pointless because R-Comps are the way to go

So what size tire would be better? The 225s?

^Well you are just going to need a wider rim

Again, I just don't think it's worth it to buy a serious DOT legal slick to run around on the streets.

It is your car and money. You can get 15x9 or even 10's to fit.

Hoosiers!

But they suck in the rain, unless you're on the rain tires - and they suck on dry pavement. Also, these tires have weak carcasses, and won't be very cost effective for daily driving.

I wouldn't be caught dead on ANY DOT slick in the rain.
