Should I Paint my stocks?

I have a Pearl White '98 type SH, it has the 5 straight spoke wheels (not the sawblades)

They're starting to get a little scratched up and there are some black dirt spots forming, that i cant get to come off.
So, I think I'm going to paint them, but I can't decide what color I want...

Im considering:

Gunmetal
Black with Silver Lip
and Gold

What do you think looks best? I like all three options, so I'm hoping for some persuasion here!

they aren't really all that bad, but i want my wheels to look clean!
i've tried many times to scrub that off, but i never succeed. if you have any suggestions for cleaning them, ill try that and just forget the painting altogether if it works

some of that is just dirt from the road [in the picture] and will rub off, but theres still alot that wont come off

I'd keep trying to clean them. Maybe check the detailing forum?

(Painted wheels always look home-made, imo)
