Get a different tire, maybe a 215-40-18. Could probably get away with a 225-40-18

225 would more than likely be too big. I would suggest a 215. Did you trim the tab yet? You have a couple of options on what to do (of course all depending on the rubbing and where). You can roll your fenders, remove fender lining, buy a camber kit and adjust the camber, and/or downsize tires.

Some additional information regarding tire sizes...

225-40/18 tires would cause your speedometer to be 4.196% too slow
215-40/18 tires would cause your speedometer to be 2.905% too slow
215-35/18 tires would cause your speedometer to be 0.624% too fast

Most places suggest you stay within 3% of the OEM spec tire size (205-50/16), so the 215-35/18 tires would probably be your best bet. Hope this helps.

Looks pretty sharp. First off I would get smaller tires. Then if they are still rubbing I would buy a camber kit for the rear and tweak it just enough to not rub, nothing ridiculous. Are you able feel/see where it rubs?

not at the moment my first thoughts were to roll the fenders. if that didnt work i would then try to get smaller tires. but man they handle much better than the stock rims did even in wet weather its freaking awesome

I say even remove the inner lining unless you want to keep it...your ride will be a little noiser though..and roll those fenders and i think you should be fine! doesnt look to bad in my opinion! Cheers

Yeah that would be the quickest fix.

This is great...Ive been wanting to try and find RX8 wheels/tires. If you install the RX-8 wheels be prepared to roll your fenders depending on if you lower the car and what tires you buy.
