Rota rims?

Hi, sorry for all my recent threads but i have one last question for now!lol
How are rota rims? i am planning on getting some slipstreams or torques but is it true that Rotas cant handle high speeds like 100+? I was talking to a couple friends that only drive american muscle cars and while they were making fun of imports they said that Rota rims crack/snap in the 100mph range? Is this true? If so what are good but cheaper racing rims?

Haha, No, they don't crack or snap at 100+mph, that would result in many lawsuits. I'm sure you could take your car to 140mph or more several times and not have any damage to them.

They're good rims for the price, but a lot of persons have them. If you like them though, who cares.

I have had mine for a year now and no problems. I haven't tracked them yet but I would feel safe riding on them at the track.

Ive had mine for a few years now. Ive tracked in them, hit ridiculous wholes in the road, etc. They're fine.

There are some stories and pics of rota's that have cracked etc. But it seems to be one in a million. Are they the greatest wheels in the world? No, but for the price they are decent. And generally have a good range of nice looking wheels (and rip offs)

I've had my 16" slipstreams for a LONG time . . . 6 years? 7? Maybe almost 8, I can't remember. Probably put 80 or 90k miles on them (I run 15" steelies for 4 or 5 months of the year).

Anyway, absolutely no complaints.
