Rota Circuit 10's on 5th Gen

I currently have 17" +55 offset Honda OEM wheels on my car. I have bought some Rota Circuit 10's which are 17x7.5 with a +45 offset. I stupidly thought I would be able to swap the tyres (215/45/17) from the OEMs onto the Rotas and everything would be okay but after mounting just the rim on the hub I don't think they are going to fit!

Any suggestions or should I just sell them ?

Um - they should fit just fine. If they are actually 17"

Last I checked - OEM wheels were 16 inch so that may be your problem..

Well whip out the measuring tape.

If the tires are 17's and the Rota's are as well .. they should fit the rim no questions asked.

I'm not sure if the OEMs are a slightly thinner 7.0 + with the differing offset. It looks like if I put the tyre on it would hit the suspension.

215/45/17 will fit on the rotas.
Also a 17x7.5 wheel with a +45 offset should be ok wiht a conservative drop.

I don't have a drop but it looks very tight. Maybe I get the garage to put a tyre on to see for sure. Would it be worth getting a spacer to space the wheel off the hub or is that a bit of a bad idea?

that's abad Idea cause your'e going to then rub on your fender. You'll be fine man...just do it! Lots of people have run this set-up w/o any hitches AND they're lowered.

I have a 45 offset on tein SS suspension.. I am lowered a little bit more than 1.5 inches.. And i have NO issues what so ever.. On 17's OF course..

Yes i know the front is higher than my rear.. I will be lowering it more in the spring..
