rims

I really like the racing hart c5s and am still trying to figure out if I want to go 17 or 18. I am leaning tward the 18s alot but keep thinking about eveyone telling me they slow you down alot more than the 17s. What do you guys think?

Sup Man,

18" would defiantly slow down your car more than 17". 18" do look better, but if you have 18's on your car, it will weigh you down. Bigger rims and bigger tires= heavier rims and heavier tires. But for me, I personally like 17" they are big enough for me, because I like to have my car lowered as low as possible to the ground and with 18" I can't lower it that much.

Hope that helps.

18s are for show, it's a HARD ROUGH ride. You have to also learn how to "properly" drive with them to avoid damaging your expensive rims.

Also keep in mind that tires are not cheap in that rim size and profile.

I ride on 17s and I think it's sucks sometimes b/c of how careful I have to be.

Volks only if I had the dough. Another thing is I am woundering how the 17in c5 would look, because some rims in 17 look smaller than others.

Look up a posting by Chrisho, he's got 17" 3-piece C5s on his lude. I believe Joon525's also got 17" 3-pieces.

I think they're both selling their rims too if you're interested.

the only thing with 17's is in that style they look SMALL> 18/19 are the only nice sizes in that perticular rim.

1. 17's are to small for a lude..
2. 18's and 19's are to heavy unless you got money and your a rich bish like you.. who can afford light big rims go for it

yea the thing with c5s is that the spokes are FAT.. and they look kinda *** on smaller sizes.. 17s look ok, but they look better as 18s.. but that's just the c5..

I'm not really an expert on rim, tire sizes, but it sure looks like

215/35/ with 18s are similar if not equal to 205/55/ (stockie height)

G, compare your stock rims and tires and see how they compare to the M5 Evos.

And as for dropping cars, you can slam it as low as you want with the correct offset.

for 18 inch Advans with +48 offset!
