Rim question...

look before anyone gets a testy and upset about this question, i know it get asked alot and people get frustrated seeing all the time.
1.Motegi mr7 gunmetal
2.45mm offset? 48?
3.205-40-18, i wanna have some sidewall, also is that good enough tire size, i alway's had trucks, tires are easier to pick.lol.
4.i have tein ss coilover not on yet and will lower prolly 1.5

Also. People are saying they are rubbing, where? are the tires rubbing, upper part of wheel well, when they turn, hitting the caliper, hitting outside fender. I am not new to this but was just curious why some people are rubbing with set ups that other people have and never had a problem at all. this question gets hammered on, but i also had a question about it so i dont run into problems. Also is there some kinda FAQ thing we can do so these kinda questions arent alway's asked,if there is i didnt see it and apologize for bringing it up. thanks ahead for answering questions.

I don't think you will rub at all with that setup. Im lowered another inch than you with wider tires and I dont have any problems with rubbing. I would suggest you get a 215 tire. Infact almost have to on a 18 inch wheel. Oh and best bet is to get the 48 degree offset too.

i have the same rims 215.35.18's on tires.
and 43mm offset on 2.25 inch drop. im fine. but i had to cut out the rear fender trim to make it fit....

you'll be fine unless you have like 2ppl in your back seat. then you'll have some issues.
