rim and lowering help

Hi, im totally new here, so easy - anyhow im currently just bought my first honda 5th gen, excellent in dark green.

ive attached sum pics, all i want to do is really lower the car and put some fantastic eye watering rims on it, do i have to buy a bodykit too to make it look good??

As you can see in the pictures, i need to really do some serious mods to make it stand out - its very plain at the mo - the ive attached some pics of preludes i like, but just want to know how on earth they look so good, what do i have to do to make mine stand out like these preludes - they look BAD!!!

Also i need help with lowering too, how much can i lower my prelude and with what rim size?

Plz plz help me out - i dnt have a clue - cheers and x x x .

Thanks Samantha..

If all u want to do is lower the car then use the search function and search "coilovers" and you should come across plenty of threads discussing different makes and whatnot. I think what you should look for in particular is ride height adjustablility because it sounds like you are just going for looks as opposed to performance.
As far as wheels, most people will tell you to go with 17" wheels, but if you want to go with an 18" wheel your probably going to have to run a 215/35/18 tire and maybe roll the fenders a bit if you want to lower it. There was a white lude on here that ran an 18" volk wheel with 215 tires and didn't rub at all and he was lowered too. So all in all do research before you just start throwing money at your car.
