Prelude rims on RSX?

Ok, I did a search and all of them are about RSX rims on a Prelude. I'm asking about a Prelude base rim (the blade ones) on a base RSX though.

Will it fit?

The RSX rims are supposed to be 40-45mm offset whereas the lude is 55mm offset which is why ppl have to run spacers when they put the RSX rims on the lude (to clear the calipers).

If we do this the other way round, what happens? Brake clearance shouldn't be a problem but will it have too much offset that it'll rub the suspension components?

Actually, lower offset wheels normally clear brakes much easier. It's the spoke design on the RSX wheels that causes a problem with the prelude brakes (you can just shave a casting line off the calipers and clear though). Prelude rims on an RSX will be very tucked (half an inch more than stockers), and you may have brake clearance issues.
