Like the title reads, I need help ordering the right sized tires

Here are the wheel specs:

17x8.5, 5x114.3+40mm, Hub 73mm

I am pretty sure that 215/45's would stretched out the tires..

Do you guys think Ill be fine with 225/45's?

By the way it is a 5th gen.

+40 8.5 + 225/45 = rubbing.

How about with a 215 tire?

or a 225 or 215 tire with +35 offset?

Those wheels are going to stick out a full inch past the fenders. They are too wide to fit your car without stretched tires.
