Civic Si ones look like crap and have brake caliper clearance problems. I have had 04-05 TSX wheels on my car and those looked pretty good. Any of the new wheels look good, but the 04-06 ones look stupid. 02-04 RSX wheels look stupid too but the 05-06 wheels are probably the best looking OE wheels for the prelude out there.
Where can you find them..any of the rims talked about so far? where could you find the SH rims? I am having more trouble figuring out where to find them rather than what I want...
With the USD being up it might also be worth looking here (Australia) or the UK. UK could be good for EP3 rims.
FN2 CTR rims?
18x7.5 +55 though, so I am not sure if they would fit. Better looking than the FD2 rims I think, kinda NSX like.
OEM rims from an out of production model like a SH Prelude or EP3 CTR is always going to be rarer and probably more expensive than a current model where people are always wanting to get rid of brand new sets. They are around though.
For something like a current model TSX or Civic, I'm sure if you looked around Honda forums you would find a bargain.
There are some banged up white (could clean the gutter rash and paint) EP3 rims here for sale for the equiv of about US$260. No centre caps though.

those look pretty sick..would love to see them on a Lude..that listing for SH wheels is simply ridiculous though for 1k even though they are brand new. SH wheels can be found across many prelude forums such as here or preludepower, etc. JDM land is selling a set of EP3 rims in gunmetal, pretty hefty price though.

wow, buying new wheels is really expensive...a thousand bucks for used SH rims, thats not just ridiculous, thats pathetic. those EP3 rims look great, but those have go to be extremely hard to find in the U.S. and more expensive because of that; I can only imagine how much it would cost to ship those from england...ridiculous.
I don't even think they had/have type-r civics here in the U.S., did they?

If they are the wheels pictured here: 2003 Acura CL Type-S - Forbes.com then it looks like they have a more serious concave in the centre, otherwise very similar.
I'd love to put some 17 inch wheels on my Prelude. I'd like to have 215 width tires, too. Are there tires available that make this possible but also retain the overall diameter of the stock wheels and tires? 215 40 R17 perhaps? I've heard all about how having larger diameter tires slows down the car by making the gearing taller. It would be nice to avoid that.
