need new wheels and tires for 4th gen plz help - Honda Prelude Forum

okay i drive a white prelude 4th gen and i've lowered it about an inch or so.

i'm currently looking for rims (preferably black)
and have a budget for both rims and tires of $1000 give or take a couple hundred

i guess to fit it in the budget i'll get 16 inch rims with 205/50/16 tires

what would you guys suggest? i'm either going to discount tire or firestone depending on pricings and quality

i was thinking about getting ecstas in 205/50/16 and konig zero's
i really like the spider-mesh kinda style on rims but the only ones at discount are the drag dr-19's and i don't know how reputable they are on bumps, potholes, mountains...

well, i'm kinda trying to get them asap. but i haven't looked into the classfieds here

i want suggestions cause if i don't end up finding a nice pair of spider-mesh rims i'll just go rota slipstreams... but with slipstreams it comes at a +45 offset and i don't understand how i would get in to 48-50ish

EDIT: i just checked out the Enkei Performance EDR9 Black Painted and they're pretty sikk. but the offset is +38 so how would i go about getting it set right so i don't mess up my car?

eh. so i bought enkei flc-01's in black and got falken (somethings) 205/40/17's

Nice choice on both, Falken makes some great tires, and the FLC 01's are sharp. Pictures?!?!?!
