need new tires(2nd time in a month that i ate it on a turn*sigh*
once again my back end slid out. i wanna get new tires. my tires r unevenly worn. the fronts hace like twice as much tread left as the rears and the rears don't even pass the "penny test". from ur guys experience, wut r some sticky street tires i could get that have good grip in both dry and wet weather? i'm riding on stock rims if that has any significance. i was thinking of getting either bridgestone potenza or bf goodrich G-Force TA's.
I have the G-Forces and they are awesome in rain and in the dry for a little less money than the S03s, but I think the S03s are probably the best you can buy. I stay away from all the cheap brands, including Yokohama. Yes, I said Yokohama is a cheap brand. Their tires just do not hold up at all--bubbles, blisters, and no grip. Just remember, you get what you pay for. I also had Pirelli Pzeros and they are incredible in the dry, but only marginal in the rain.

How about not driving so hard on the street and going to an autocross or open track day? That way you won't risk damaging your car badly, or risk running into something (or someone)?
If you want great tires, S03s are the way to go. Don't bother with SP9000s.

I think the Parada's would be fine for street use. If you are looking for good rain tires stay away from Azenis, mine aren't bad in the rain. However, I have heard the get worse as the tread lessens, obviously.
Do the S03's have a sexy tread pattern? Gotta love tires with a slick looking pattern on them....
Chicks dig that, I swear!

tires!!!
whoever said azenis either didnt read the topic or hasnt driving in the rain much
azenis in the dry are great but in wet you might as well have re92's
i have s03s and did a review on them
it stopped raining but i was gonna go and record me doing a salomn
imo dont get paradas they are garbage
i have had both spec 1's and 2
hmm if i were to say tires id either get s03's are re730s
i havent heard much of the es100 but i dun think i will get yoko's again
uhhh they made parada 2s for our OEM 16" rims? SO3's have ok looking tread pattern but its like one of the highest rated tires on the market now. Other companies like goodyear, BF goodrich and michelin have double priced tires, and still rate lower than them. yuck! Yea go with S03's if you can pay the extra money it costs.
