Konig Absolute 18x7.5 with 225/40/18

Well here is the deal, I found a great price on some Konig Absolutes 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 falkens...They are a 45 offset... I have searched and searched, and it is all a blur now.. I have read about the cutting the rear tabs and all, but here is my question....as of right now I am not lowered at all, I plan in the future to lower it a little maybe 1.75 or something close to that, how bad are my chances of rubbing? When I get the chance I am going to replace the tires with probably a 215/40/18 but until then am I going to rub at stock height? What about lowered? Also would I need hub rings with these?

Thanks....oh and here is a pic of the rims... In opal machined finish they are going on a Diamond White Pearl 98

Unless the wheels are made for the Lude specifically, you'll need hubcentric rings. I have 225/40/17's and 1.5" drop and I rub. I don't think it'll rub with stock height and 215's. I'm going to check into fender flares and see if 245/30/17's will fit with turning
