You can shave the plastic thing under the fender .. Someone told me you can get wheel spacers. I guess it would not rub.. But i dont know if it'll work.

spacers might make it worse...........what is your rim size?
17x7, 17x7.5 18x7, 18x 7.5???
What size tires are you using? Is the rear rubbing or front too?
How low ar eyou dropped?

On the rear as someone suggested, shave those rear tabs, in the front you could cut the splash gaurd --- thats what someone else did on this board.............

Honestly a +40 offset is a
a +42 offset is pushing it
a + 45 offset and greater is good.........

also depends on tire size and how low you are dropped and how stiff your suspension is

I've got the 40mm offset too. Take a Dremel or even a hacksaw blade will do, and cut the nub off the bottom rear corner of the back fenderwells---works wonders!!

i will assume that you have a 5g lude and running 17's or 18's.
on a 215 or 225 tire. what drop do you have? and is it only in the back?

its a very easy task to fix. but you need to have like a hack saw or a drill with a round grind disk.

remove the plastic trim on the back fender all the way around.
and cut the pc that sticks out twards the tire. the grind it down so it will not pucture your tire. you'll be fine
i had to do this on my ride

215.35.18's 2.25 drop on 43+ offset.
