just got my tenzo passion 5 but..

i just got my tenzo passion 5 but when i mount the front ones on, the spokes rub on the brakepad, what could be wrong???? my car is normal height not lowered at all, and i belive the offset is 42, if thats what et42 on the inside of the wheel means.

can any one tell me whats wrong

thanks

yeah its the offset of the rim that cause your rims to hit the brakes. there are 2 ways you can fix it. getting new rims with a different offset or getting wheel spacers

thats tough bro - either ditch the wheel and sell it or feel uncomfortable driving the mofo .
you should have researched more before you bought the wheels .
maybe it is the shape of the spokes and the offset.
if you buy another wheel it will feel like you bought some advans or volks .

I believe H&R makes a 5mm spacer that will work to clear the brake caliper. Look at options auto salon.

NO NO....take the wheel back and get the right off set...
a spacer isnt that safe over the right off set...the reason the rub..and they place you got it from should of told you is because the style of the rim. the kind of goes IN twards the brake you need a bigger offset ONLY on ludes ( of coarse)....

do it right and take the wheel back.

Yeah I've seen those wheels, the spokes seem to go in allot. I'd return them for sure.....It's your hard earned cash(or not).
