How much to torque aftermarket lug nuts? - Honda Prelude Forum

Please forgive my stupidity when it comes to wheels and stuff like this, but...

I have 15" Speedmaster wheels for my auto-x days. I bought these with the lug nuts for them. I think they are called "conical" lug nuts, maybe?

Anyways, my question is, do I still torque these to 80, like on stock wheels and lugs?

Do you happen to know what company makes them? They usually state what to torque them at.

I bought them used and don't have any packaging or anything for them.

my only experience is with two types of jdm ones.

they say approx 76 ft/lbs. but i would try contacting the seller (if possible) to find out the brand

i just talked to him.

he said "oriellys generic lugnuts"

which means you can go to an oriellys and figure it out or call them

now you owe me

just torque them to 80 pounds. If they are new be sure to re-torque them after 50-100 miles. Or after your first few runs.

Also, are you interested in some 225/45-15 Hoosier R6's?

I usually torque my lug nuts between 76 and 78 ft*lbs.
