HFP Accord Wheel/Tire Fitment

I know that the stock tire size for a 5th Gen is P205/50R16. The HFP Accord wheel/tire combo that I'm looking at buying have P205/5017. This should mean that the total diameter difference between the two is exactly one inch.

The question I pose is: does it seem likely that these will fit on my 5th gen with stock height suspension? Because the width doesn't change, I shouldn't really see any rubbing at all correct?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

You Actually might rub some Especially when you turn really hard at a short angle, but the other things you should have to worry about is your car looking like a monster truck and your Speedometer being off, i have the R7 HFP rims in 17in. I ran 225-45 just fine before i dropped it, i didn't really rub at all actually, so it shouldn't bee too bad for yours.

True. The 205-50/17's will cause your speedometer to be 4.158% too slow. You need to stay within 3% of the OEM tire size to keep the speedometer as correct as possible. A 205-45/17 tire will only cause your speedometer to be 0.793% too slow where as a 205-40/17 tire will be 2.638% too fast. Best option is to go with a 45 series if you do plan on dropping the car in the near future. Any yeah the 50's on the 17" wheels will look 4x4 as hell lol.
