Help with Type S Rims

I was wondering since theyre 17in do i still need to cut off the small plastic inside the wheel well? Im lude is dropped to the point where you can fit 2 fingers from the top of the tire to the finder, all around. Im sorry if this question has been asked.

Thanks in advance

Depends on the tire size you go with, but probably not.

I run 215/45R17 on the 05-06 RSX-S rims. I am dropped with no finger gap. You actually have to bend your finger up to get it between the tire and fender.

I have NOT/would NEVER removed my fender liners and I don't rub either.

Just get a nice set of 16 inch chrome rims that fit your car. Good places to look would be on craigslist.org and ebay.com. Tire shops sell rims too.

I'm not a fan of putting extra stress on the studs for the oh so special "hella flush" look.

I can't wait till that fad fades into the darkness honestly.

To be honest, sometimes i like it sometimes i dont. People sometimes do a little too much for that look. But i was just thinking of putting spacers so that the rims or tires dont hit anything when i put them on. Just trying to be careful before hand thats all.

They won't hit anything with them not there I know that from my experience with the rims running a 215/45R17. On the same size rim, many run a 215/40R17. Plus as I stated before, I have NO finger gap.
