Help me decide O.Z. Superleggera vs. SSR GT1

**********EDIT***********
I bought the OZ's last week(refer to the post below) so you guys can stop voting.

OK, I think I am in the market for some new rims and I am trying to decide between these two rims.

17x7 O.Z. Superleggera's with the light grey finish

17X7.5 SSR GT1's

Here is my car.

They are around the same price and weight with the OZ's being slightly less expensive and weigh slightly less.

My main reason for wanting new rims is I'm tired of replacing bent Konig Tantrums and I want something stronger and lighter. So if anyone has any first-hand knowledge of the strength of either of these rims that would be fabulous.

I would say that right now I am leaning towards the OZ's for no reason in particular but strength is what I am really looking for.

Opinions are welcome.

Nice pic.

Have you had any problems with them bending? How long have you had them?

Thanks.

Turn 2 at Laguna.

No bending that I can see. Just put new tires on it and it balanced OK so everything must be OK.

I've had them for a year.

I bent one when I hit something on I-680 at night at 80 mph. It was a pretty hard hit and I think is was a 2-3 inch bump in the pavement. Cal Trans was preparing to repave the road. Anyway, it still drove OK but I replaced it anyway.

I wanted to get the SSR's. Just too much $$ for me at the time. I've been drooling over those wheels for years.

BTW, see if you can find pics of D-Town's 5G. He has them and has a white lude, so you can get an idea of what it'll look like.

I have 17" GT1's. I'm running 215/40 tires and I've had no reason to doubt the strength of the wheels yet (MD has some pretty nasty roads too). I like the fact that the SSR's come in a 7.5" width, which is the best IMO for a 215 tire. You could get the OZ in 17x8, but that doesn't leave much tire to protect the rim.

I have some pics (my car is satin silver) that I can email if you're interested.

Both are nice. I don't think that you can lose either way.
If only you were in NJ.......I'd sell you my Volks with tires.

LOL, I guess that is the only logical thing to do.

How much you looking to get for your volks Joon? If the price is right I might be up for a road trip.
