full size spare?

does anybody keep a full size spare in their trunk? and what do you do about the mat.. since the wheel is a few inches higher than the spare that would have normally been sitting in there. i'm thinking of double-sided-taping some styrofoam blocks on the areas around it so that the rest of the trunk is level with the wheel, and then the mat wouldnt looks so... droopy.. for lack of a better word

I used to have a full-size spare. Back when I was autocrossing, I'd usually leave a tire in the well. Since I was carrying 4 race tires, there was no real need for a spare. Being the lazy-ass that I am, I'd leave one race tire in there all the time, rather than unload all 4 tires and put the donut back in

As for the lump, it wasn't all that bad. It was actually pretty handy for putting smaller objects tucked into the lowered corners of the trunk!

Styrofoam underneath sounds like a good idea.

a 15x7 te37 on a 50 series tire would look and fit perfect in there
