Discount tire is good to deal with for getting larger rims and tires installed, but the way they take care of you rims in my city, Rockford, IL....Is really lousy. Sometimes if your not watching them they'll try to set the rim down on the ground face down!
And during the removing of the old tire or putting on the new one with that stupid metal bar they chipped my rims twice. You get pissed off at them and tell them about it and they do nothing to try to keep your business or give compensation for the damage.
Im never going back to Discount Tire!

I wouldn't blame on Discount Tire really, I would place more blame on ill-trained employees and lack of knowledge.
That's all I have to say.

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that. Discount Tire Co prides themselves on customer care. If your vehicle, your tires, or your wheels are damaged at one of our facilities you should speak to a manager immediately. If you are unable to come to a reasonable resolve, then you should be in contact with their regional office who will be more than willing to work with you. I hope that we will gain your trust back someday.

Yeah, all there employees are like that though, and the employees that are good, become managers and dont work on cars no more, just sell tires.

Sorry about your bad experience with them, but the ones here in Houston are excellent. They have the best customer service and when they accidentily messed up my dad's wheel during service, they replaced it for free and had a new one the next day.

All tire shops will f*ck up your rims if they aren't careful. I've had it happen so many times now!
I got smart this time. I shot some video of my rims yesterday for when I take them in for new tires today. Just let them try to say they were already damaged!
