I personally don't think you need them either. Other people swear they have vibrations without them. I've run multiple sets of aftermarket wheels on multiple vehicles with and without hubcentric rings - never noticed any differences. They *help* center the wheel on the hub .... but you can center it yourself too.

you only need them on the front wheels. the hub ring application you have #73-6415 is the same one i have for my volks, so those should be fine. good luck and enjoy the new wheels

Thats sounds about right too...the wheel bore size is the same for my ADR's...i mean no matter what i think its a good precautionary thing to buy hubcentric rings. I had 18's on without them...over time they got out of center and started to do weird things...ended up having to replace my front right axle.
