19inch on the 5th gen. ?

Hi there,

i´m a bb8 owner from germany and i´m looking for some new rims in about 8J-19 inch or 8,5J-19. Does anyone have some pics with a 5th gen. on 19inch wheels ? I found nothing yet

Here is a pic from my prelude on 8,5J-18 Brock B15 ...

Thanks.

some more here ...

oeschie

hmmm, I dont recall seeing any pics with 19 inch wheels, but lowering the car on 19s would be nearly pointless.

IMO, 18s are too big on the 5th gen unless you have the WWRS kit, otherwise 16s and 17s are the best.

Where abouts in Germany are you? I just got back from Postdam/Berlin this past fall. Beautiful country, definately want to go back.

Nothing is with these headlights, they are OEM. I just stretched the hood over the headlights to get a better look of the front (in my opinion).
I´m not a friend of those JDM-Cars.....

19's will work, though i don't know why you'd want to do that. i recall seeing a pic of 2 members on socalprelude that had 19's.

i actually like the lil "headlight mod", looks like it was cleanly done! now about that comment about not likn jdm cars.......

you wont find many ludes with 19's b/c in a lot of ppl's opinions (including mine), theyre just too big n dont look right. i too had 18's once n i thought that was pushn it.

i like ur lude a lot. has a touch of european flavor and still looks really clean

Oh I see. How did you modify the hood? I don't like the look at all personally, but it looks really seamless and I applaud that.

Just go to google and type in Tj Toppers prelude. You will get a few sites that will give you picks of his car on 19s. I cant remember if there racing harts or HP huricanes. But anyways hope this helps you out. If you need anymore just pm me and i can find some. But just to let you no there right when they say 17s would be better. But if you dont want the performance side and you just want looks than go with the 19s.

^ I think you have to get a body kit to in order for 19s to look "good," otherwise proportionally, they just look too big.

Anyone have any idea where to find a rear bumper like the ones on the red and white ludes in Sanova's reply? I've been trying to find one and I can't anywhere!
