17x9 +25 wheels on BB6?

Well, I REALLY need some input as to what I'm looking for.

I need to pull the trigger on some wheels. And I can do some special order color Rota Grid in the 17x9 concave spoke, and they are what I wanna go with.

Size is: 17x9 +25 with 215 or 225 40 17 tires,

I have to have some input about this size. If I buy these, I'm stuck with em. If the fitment is undriveable, I'm stuck with pretty paperweights.

I have seen on PP

17x9 +35 215/45

It looks perfect. Basically I need to know if those +10 will be the difference in looking RIGHT or looking wrong.

They will fit but you wont be able to go to low on a drop, unless you get some nice stiff coilovers. 215 tire is gunna be a lil bit of a stretch on a x9 wheel. Idk, imo its gunna look like a 4x4. Im planning on going +38 with a x8 wheel and calling it a day.

ppl are running these sizes, and bigger, with even lower offsets and they DD it. its gonna be about pulling and rolling the fenders, tire size and having the right suspension

I wouldn't do it. Too much involved to make them fit. If you want a vdub then go buy one.

Those are awesome, I have the original 15 inch versions on my car, have 17's of the same style would be so cool..I chose this 17 because I thought the CST kit was like most other kit, requiring a max. wheel backspacing of 4.5". When I found out that wasn't the case, I still like this size because I'm only running 33's and did not want to get a wheel so big that the tires started to look like those low profile street tires.

That wheel is gonna stick out soooooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking car.. there is no amount of fender rolling and pulling that will help you out.. that offset is super low for a fwd.. I have a pic of an 17x9 Fn10rc on my car and it had a + 40 offset.. The damn wheel stuck out from my fender about an inch...
If you want fashion rather then function id go with some (R1 Racing) wheels.. they make it possible for fwds to have that massive lip while having a decent offset... But don't let me discourage you.. Just know that if you do this your gonna have to do some intense fab work.. Fender flares most likely..
