I think, they will stick out of your fenders, an inch or so.
With 17x7 and 215/45R17, stay between 48+ and 42+.

The Race will slam your car, and the 45 series tires won't help. Going with a 40 will help, but you'll still rub in the corners and when pulling in and out of parking spots.

I used to have 17x7, 40mm w/ 215/40/17 on my 4th gen. I never rubbed once.
I was not lowered at the time though.

40+ and 42+ is only 2mm difference, how do u explain that 40+ will stick out an inch and 42+ will be ok when its only 2mm different? Obviously u dont know what u are talking about.

I ended buying a set of 215/40R17 used for $100. They rubbed a little bit, but not much and eventually stopped rubbing altogether unless I was taking hard turns.

I swapped the springs out for Tein S-Techs over the weekend - no more rubbing but does not look as cool - I have a 1" gap now. Oh well, whatever.

When I said "an inch or so", I meant it will stick out a little, I dont know how many mms or inches.
I said stay between 48+ and 42+. Well, 42+ is cutting it close too.
